At the closing day of the successfully organized European Hot Air Balloon Championship this summer, there was a reconstitution of the first balloon flight which took place in France about 200 years ago.

Balloon Rides in Launceston

Balloon flights in Cornwall can be a challenge. One thing few of our passengers think about is the fact that everywhere in Cornwall is incredibly close to the coast.

That's why are favorite flight meeting location for Cornwall is on the border to Devon in a town called Launceston.

Depending on the wind direction this ballooning location is fantastic for hot air balloon rides as it allows you to either fly towards Dartmoor and Devon or alternatively towards Bodmin in Cornwall. Both areas are superb and truly make for a once in a lifetime balloon flight.
